Our Aquaponic Dome Greenhouses Kickstarter Project
We launched our Kickstarter project for our aquaponic dome greenhouses! Your help is needed to build sustainable heating sources in our domes to grow food year round. Garden of Life Gardeners
Gardeners at the Garden of Life have been enjoying their mid-summer harvest. More and more residents are taking pride in their growing power here at Galego Court. We are proud of our Galego Court residents.

Quick Brown Rice With Shitake And Sesame
2 cups water
1 cup brown rice - short or long grain-
3 shiitakes
dash of sesame oil
Tamari, Bragg Liquid Amino, or low sodium soy sauce (green label)
Bring water to boil add 1 cup rice, diced shiitakes, and sesame oil-
lower heat to low - simmer appx 45 minutes.
That's it!
Quick, easy - and a nice twist!

Lazy Lentil Soup
1 cup diced onion
1 cup diced celery
1 cup green lentils
5-6 cups water
sea salt
1 kombu piece
1 cup whole wheat elbow or shell pasta
Place onions, celery, lentils, kombu, and water into pot-
cover and boil
reduce flame - simmer 45 minutes
season with sea salt - add uncooked noodles
simmer a tad more - uncovered - until tender
Voila

Recipe Of The Day - Warm Winter Miso
5 cups water
4-5 shiitake mushrooms
1 carrot
1 kombu piece
1 cup fresh snow peas
4-5 teaspoons barley miso
Place water, shiitake, carrot, and kombu into your favorite pot and bring to boil. Cover and reduce to med-low. Simmer 10 minutes. Remove kombu and slice thin - add back into pot. Reduce flame to low - add miso, and peas - simmer an additional 3-5 minutes
That is it! Yummy, yummy - loved by most.
